Is Sony sound Bar compatible with Sharp TV?

You should be able to use any soundbar that has an input to match the audio output of the Sharp TV. If your TV supports ARC (not likely in a set that old) then get a soundbar that connects to the TV with HDMI. It will likely allow you to control the soundbar volume with the TV remote if CEC is turned on in the TV menu.

Can a sound bar be connected to a TV?

While your TV and audio device (Sound Bar, Home Theater System, or Home Audio System) are off, verify that the cables between the TV and Audio device are securely connected. NOTE: Disconnect the HDMI cables, then reconnect them again.

Why is my soundbar not syncing with my TV?

Your television itself may cause some syncing issues between the video you see and the audio coming from your Soundbar. I recommended you check your television’s setting first as it may eliminate the lag immediately. First, to check to see if the TV is the issue, find a media source that you know does not have an audio issue.

What should I do if I Can’t Hear My Sound on my TV?

Check the sound after completing each step. Disconnect the cables between your TV and the home theater system or home audio system, and then reconnect them. Make sure the cables are secure at both ends. Verify whether your TV has an ARC label on the HDMI port.

How can I fix lag between my soundbar and my TV?

If you are like me, lag is beyond aggravating, even when the sound is just a few seconds off. So how do you fix lag between a Soundbar and a TV? Check your television and media sources for issues, audio reset options, or firmware updates that need to be regularly installed. Check your Soundbar for audio reset options and/or restart the device.

How can I get sound from my soundbar to my TV?

If your TV has no ARC label: Connect one end of the HDMI cable (sold separately) to any HDMI IN port on your TV. Connect the other end to the TV OUT (ARC) port on your audio device. Then, connect an optical audio cable from the TV’s Optical digital audio out to OPTICAL IN on your audio device.

Why is my sound not working on my Sony TV?

If the audio device connected to the TV doesn’t support compressed audio (such as MP3, ACC/HE-AAC, WMA9 Standard, or LPCM) the sound may not be output depending on the type of broadcast or video. Check your TV and audio device manual for more information. Update your audio device software to the latest version, visit the Sony Support website.

Why does my sound bar not work with HDMI?

Enable the Control for HDMI function to resolve the issue. On the remote control, press and hold the VOICE button for five seconds. Make sure that the USB indicator on the soundbar flashes twice. If the USB indicator flashes only once, the Control for HDMI function is set to off. If the steps above don’t work, reset the soundbar.

Check the sound after completing each step. Disconnect the cables between your TV and the home theater system or home audio system, and then reconnect them. Make sure the cables are secure at both ends. Verify whether your TV has an ARC label on the HDMI port.
