I had the other 12 inch kicker the yellow on front but man this kicker hit hard I love it I need two more and that’s it for me heavy baseline. My new favorite subwoofer. Being powered with a 500 watt Rockford My new favorite subwoofer. Being powered with a 500 watt Rockford Prime amp in a transmission port box.
What does the inside of a kicker look like?
Upon looking at the sub, there is a 3″ strip of what looks like glue on the inside of the sub litterally holding it together. In other words it was sold as new but was repaired and was faulty.
Is there Black Glue on the inside of the kicker?
There is a 2 inch band of black glue on the inside of the sub. I wood imagine a 10k amp wood have trouble driving all that weight It’s great… Used to have an old CVR that lasted longer than 10 years… Have always liked kickers quality and sound. Bought this and it goes just as hard and sounds just as good, if not better than the old one.
Can a kicker sub make a real sound?
I lost a year of time on this crap and I offer advice to anyone who cannot get this type kicker sub to make any real sound to: ” look at the sub carefully when you receive it. I will try to post a pic. See the pic below.
