Is there a red standby light that does not turn on?

There is no red standby light. Nothing happens. Any suggestions would be great. It is not the remote. The set has power. I have unplugged the one connect device. I have left the set unplugged for hours. Still nothing. Answered! View the answer I have this problem too Is this a good question?

Why is the standby light on my Samsung TV not working?

The standby light will be blinking or illuminated on the front of the TV. If you do not see a light in the front, then you do not have standby. Can a fuse be removed if there is no power?

If you use an ohmmeter, you can get false readings if there is any power in the circuit. In other words, only use an ohmmeter if there is no power on anywhere. You can remove the fuse and then check it with the ohmmeter. It depends on where the fuse is located in the circuit.
