Why does my highs amp keep cutting out?

The most often reason for speakers to cut out at a high volume is either issue with an amplifier or a problem with the crossover settings. Also, speakers that are not designed to handle a high volume can cut out often when overpowered.

I TRIED ALL OTHER AMPS AND NONE SOUNDED AS GOOD AS ALPINE. I TRIED TO TALK TO ONE OF THEIR TECHS, BUT NEVER COULD GET HOLD OF ONE. I WOULD LOVE TO GET IT REPAIRED BUT THEY WANT TOO MUCH (MTX, AND OTHERS REPAIR FOR FREE). I MAY HAVE CURED THE PROBS MYSELF (GOD WILLING). MY 3554 HAS A PLASTIC CONNECTOR FOR THE REMOTE (INSTEAD OF A SCREW LUG).
