Why is my mi box remote not working?
I connected the box using the HDMI and power cable provided in the box. The setup started smoothly, the remote connected to the box by me pressing one of the buttons on the remote. As soon as I reached the Wifi network connection (manual setup) option, the remote stopped working.

You can solve this by going to the ScpToolkit folder, open ScpSettings, select Service Settings and check “Always unplug virtual controller”. This solved it for me. all i did was unplug it was everything unplugged for atleast 5 seconds then plugged it back in
